I apologize for not posting in this particular blog for a while now, my stupid brain just wont focus on Catherine lately -Vexis and Xenon from my other blog have invaded my head for the moment.

Where It All Began...
'I walk down this cold path of broken dreams and shattered hopes, trying to find my place in the sky...but here I stand on this cruel world, a reject -the person that everyone kicks around because they're different...curse you Goddess...if you truly exist.' Catherine -a ragged looking warrior whose crimson hair hung in her face blocking her eyes from sight- continued down the dirt trail that led through the dark woods 'And I'll never forgive lord Ahnju and his soldiers for what they did...I swear I'll get vengeance one of these days...even if I die in the process!' her once blank face now held an expression of true hatred.
-8 years previously-
The wind gently brushed the trees, making the leaves rattle with their calming sounds in the nighttime breeze. Everyone was now inside their small homes in the village of Saiwai, everything was calm and quiet. Three giant ships became visible on the coastline -Saiwai was on the edge of a large lake called "The Dragon's Pass", but no one was outside to see them draw near. Soon after, the ships stopped at shore, several hundreds of soldiers disembarked from them -every single one of them dressed in golden armor -a sign of incredible wealth in this part of the country "Alright, you heard what the Lord's orders were...Destroy EVERYTHING! Let no one survive, these rebels deserve to die after rejecting Goddess like they have!!" the leader of the group shouted out to his underlings while pushing his jewel-encrusted helmet over his blueish-black hair. Everything turned from peace and harmony to chaos and destruction in a matter of minutes -buildings on fire, a few stray villagers lying on the ground in pools of their own blood, and no one was aware of what was happening until it was already too late. Young little Catherine jerked awake immediately, she then noticed that she was surrounded by flames "Mom? Dad!?" she tried shouting out from behind the piles of flaming ruin that were once her bedroom. Catherine started to panic when she got no response, but she knew that they'd most want her to escape first, so she tried her hardest to hold back tears and find her way out. Catherine managed to squeeze her way through a small break in the fire and ran outside immediately "Mom! Dad!" she cried out again, but found no reply "Sorry about this little girl, but Lord Ahnju said to exterminate EVERYONE!" A soldier said while chasing after Catherine, his sword ready to strike. Catherine out-ran several of the soldiers, but it was her misfortune that she soon ran into the leader of them all "You wont escape!!" he yelled out while chasing after her, they were now in the woods that stood just outside of Saiwai. Catherine was getting tired, but yet she knew she had to keep going -otherwise she'd fall victim to the evil soldier's blade soon after, though he was starting to catch up "You heathens will repent!!" he called out while swiping his sword at several innocent tree branches. Catherine fell to the ground after tripping on a giant root that stuck up from the base of it's tree, unfortunately for her the soldier caught up to her now "DIE!!" he lunged his blade at her -but she wasn't dead yet. Something orange that resembled an animal had attacked him -now was her chance, and Catherine took it, off into the dark night woods she ran -never once looking back...
"And thats how I've wound up here...struggling to survive on my own, no place to go...its been living hell these past 8 years, but I WILL get everything right again -I'll stop Lord Ahnju even if its the last thing I do!" Catherine looked around and found a small town 'Guess I'll stay here tonight...'
